It's about how things are distorted by the glass, about light, bokeh, refractions etc. We post just one photo a week. It can be a photo of absolutely anything as long as it involves a jar or some other glass receptical! The above was my first offering. The texture used was one of my own.
Glass pebbles catching the sunlight in my garden, creating some lovely bokeh!
Week 3 of 52 of the jar project ~ some of my paint brushes and some pearly acrylic paint. The texture used is one of my own. I am just starting to experiment with a little painting!
Artist's pastels gently distorted by the glass.
I must put my thinking cap on for this weeks jar project photo now!
From my last trip to St Ives:
Taken at Porthgwidden beach, St Ives. It was early October and although the sun was shining, in no way was it remotely warm! These four brave (?) young ladies decided to go for a dip! I'm glad I was in the right place at the right time to get a pic!
Waves coming over the harbour wall at St Ives. Quite a common occurance at high tide! It was quite early in the morning. I parked myself on a seat by the St Ives Art club, set up my tripod and got a few good pics in the early morning sunlight.
I have posted lots of new textures at Texture Time. They are free to use. I like to try my textures out on my own images when I can:
I'm currently using this image as my blog header....
My current blog design is made up of my own textures and photography!
I managed to get a couple of sunset photos in early November of the beach at Burnmham On Sea:
I was heading for the lighthouse but I had left it a little too late and the light had gone before I got there! Never mind, I will try for a sunset pic of the lighthouse another day!
This image sums up our weather this winter ......
...... rain on the window in my kitchen in the early morning light!
I'm taking my mum out for the day on Wednesday (20th February), so I'm really hoping the weather will be kind to us and hope to get a few good photos I can share with you!
♥ Thank you for taking time to look at my photos ~ I hope to see you again soon ♥
